BONTOC, Mountain Province – A sought – after International Retail Trainer and retail practitioner challenged business owners in Mountain Province and Ifugao to level up in managing their businesses.
Francisco Dela Cruz, Jr., who has extensive retail experiences and wisdom, was invited by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Mountain Province and Ifugao as the resource speaker to more than hundred entrepreneur- participants on January 17-18, 2019 at Ridgebrook Hotel and Restaurant, Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
Dela Cruz emphasized the value of kindness which radiates into costumer care that is what costumers yearn for.
He added that business owners should not only satisfy their costumers, but make them happy too. According to him, happy costumers buy more; happy costumers eat more; happy costumers pay more; happy costumers bring more; and happy costumers return.
Bontoc Mayor Franklin C. Odsey in his message extended the warm welcome of the people and officialdom of Bontoc to the resource speaker and the participants who came from the different municipalities of Mountain Province and Ifugao.
He likewise lauded the DTI – Mountain Province and Ifugao for spearheading the seminar on “Achieving Excellence in Retail Operations and Customer Satisfaction”. The chief executive admitted that his cup of tea is not on business, but on governance being a politician for span of years.
He however shared that he has two children who are into business, and with his conversations with them, he has learned and understood that businesses often face challenging issues to keep up with change, and these challenges have never been easy.
Despite this, he is confident that with the seminar provided by the DTI to the business owners, it is an avenue for the participants to upgrade their retailing and business skills.
“This seminar opens you windows of opportunities on how to excel, if not improve in your retail business operations at the same time satisfy your costumers. So much so that you are very fortunate since they invited an International Retail Trainer who has extensive retail experiences and wisdom,” Odsey said.
With the two-day activity, it is hope that business owners from Mountain Province and Ifugao are now more equipped with knowledge and techniques in achieving excellent retail operations and costumer happiness while managing their businesses.
